A migration of the hosting to Google Cloud and a role out of new instances in new locations is in progress.We are looking for a Business Functional Analyst to help our client create the next big thing in digital banking.What You’ll Be DoingHave overall financial services acumen to be able to connect requirements from regulatory policy changes/language to business requirements to functional specifications for solution development and implementationCreating and executing against roadmaps that focus on solution development and implementationPresent key timeline, milestones and status update in absence or in conjunction of a Product Owner to senior management and hold strategic discussions independentlyRefine business requirements and align globally across all 7 locations in the CE, Ger, APAC and US regionsPrepare senior management slides with strong communication capabilities to package a problem statement clearly to both IT and Non-IT stakeholders, message and influence via email, Word and PowerPoint effectivelyAligning with other key stakeholder groups (such as project management, software engineering, vendor) to support the link between the business divisions and the solution providers for all aspects of identifying, implementing, and maintaining solutionsDocumentation of requirements, processes and controls in Confluence and JiraSupport for maintaining and prioritizing the product backlogsPre-go-live change management, assisting and supporting SIT and UAT phasesPick-up production issues and take full ownership until resolution coordinating with all required parties in the bank What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldAt least 5 years of professional expertise in the described role or similarIn-depth knowledge of the KYC and account opening process (AFC and KYC standards and regulations) in the Wealth Management business with regard to offshore business and complex, high-risk client structures would be beneficialSocial and intercultural competence for the successful handling of all internal and external and international stakeholders, as well as good analytical, conceptual thinking, pronounced autonomy and initiativeExperience in large project or transformation projects in a big financial enterprise would be beneficialBe able to perform under pressure and face senior management stakeholders if neededCan-do attitude and natural tendency to own topics end-to-end and to deliver changes into production on timeStrong and clean skills in PowerPoint and ExcelKnowledge of the Agile methodologiesPractical experience with technologies like: JWT, SAML, REST API, Java, Oracle, SQL, Postman (or similar) would be beneficialAvaloq Core Banking knowledge is a plusStrong oral and written communication skills to ensure close alignment with all stakeholders across departments and different seniority levels up to MDLanguage skills, fluence in English, German language is a plus Show more Show less
