What You’ll Actually Do

You’ll be my go-to person for tracking down business owners, decision-makers, and their contact information. The kind that doesn’t show up on the first page of Google, and AI won’t help. Think of it as investigative research meets detective work:

• Research through industry directories, public records, permit filings, and corporate registrations to identify business owners and key contacts
• Use professional networks and enrichment tools (LinkedIn and similar platforms) to build out contact profiles
• Verify phone numbers and emails so our data is actually usable
• Build and maintain organized databases of verified contacts
• Develop your own research playbook. Find faster, smarter ways to get to the right person
• Oversee our software, report bugs, suggest ways to improve

What I’m Looking For

Forget the usual requirements list. Here’s what actually matters:

• Excellent English, written and spoken. This is non-negotiable. You’ll work in English daily and I need you to communicate with clarity and confidence
• Natural curiosity and persistence. When the obvious path doesn’t work, you try five others
• You’re comfortable navigating the internet at an advanced level
• You’re organized and detail-oriented. A wrong digit in a phone number defeats the whole purpose
• You’re self-driven. You don’t need someone checking on you every hour to know you’re getting things done

What Does Not Matter

Your degree (or lack of one). Your previous job titles. How many years of “experience” your CV shows. I’d rather have someone hungry and self-managed than someone with a perfect resume and zero initiative.
