Business Unit Manager – Operations (AI & Automation Focus) is responsible for leading and overseeing all operational activities within the assigned business unit, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability across processes while aligning with company goals and client expectations.
This role integrates the use of AI and automation technologies to optimize operational processes, improve performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations within the business unit, ensuring productivity and performance targets are met
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (logistics, supply chain, etc.), integrating AI-driven solutions into operational workflows
• Monitor and optimize KPIs, workflows, and resources to ensure operational excellence and efficiency
• Develop and implement process improvements, including automation and AI-based solutions, to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and client SLAs
• Support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the business unit
• Act as a key contact for client communication and relationship management
• Mentor and coach team leaders and managers to drive high performance
• Prepare and deliver operational reports and analysis to senior leadership, leveraging data and AI tools where applicable
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational leadership role, preferably in outsourcing, BPO, logistics, or service delivery
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems (ERP, CRM, etc.), with familiarity in AI tools considered a strong advantage
