Procurement Planning and Strategy

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for CAPEX projects to ensure the best value for the company.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement of capital assets.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Prepare and manage the annual CAPEX procurement plan, ensuring alignment with the company's financial and operational goals.

Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on their ability to meet technical specifications, cost, and quality requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible terms for Bimbo Romania.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent supply and address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and take corrective actions as necessary.

Procurement Process Management

• Coordinate the procurement process from start to finish, including the preparation of request for proposals (RFPs), evaluation of bids, and awarding of contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on the progress of CAPEX projects, ensuring that procurement activities are on track and within budget.
• Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes that may arise during the course of a project.

Financial Management

• Manage the budget for CAPEX procurement, ensuring that all expenditures are accurately tracked and reported.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for potential cost savings.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into the status of CAPEX projects and procurement activities.
• Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in a cost-effective manner, maximizing value for the company.

Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement of capital assets, including supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality issues.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential risks and ensure business continuity.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and industry developments that may impact CAPEX procurement.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, finance teams, and engineering departments, to ensure alignment on procurement objectives and priorities.
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders on all matters related to CAPEX procurement.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on the status of procurement activities and projects.

The CAPEX Procurement Specialist at Bimbo Romania will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and efficient procurement of capital expenditures (CAPEX) for the organization. This role involves managing the procurement process for large-scale investments in equipment, technology, and infrastructure, which are essential for the company's growth and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, at leas 2 years on CAPEX procurement.
• Familiar with Project Business Case concept and strong technical knowledge
• Proven track record of managing complex procurement projects and achieving cost savings.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
