As a Specialist Buyer – Product Line Construction & Agriculture, you will be responsible for the procurement of parts in Eastern Europe.

Your responsibilities will include demand analysis for the construction and agriculture product line, supplier selection, and approval, as well as supplier development activities.

You will report directly to the Head of Procurement based in Oradea and work closely with the central procurement function.

You will play a key role in developing procurement activities in Romania and other Eastern European markets, ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining high compliance standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analysis of relevant procurement markets
• Development of a supplier network in Eastern Europe
• Conducting demand analyses for product line construction & agriculture
• Leading price and contract negotiations with suppliers, considering TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
• Organize purchasing decisions and drafting framework agreements within the defined guidelines
• Close coordination with central supply teams regarding component and raw material strategies
• Close coordination with lead plant (Gotha/Germany)
• Strategic and continuous supplier development with a focus on processes, delivery performance, and price competitiveness (including regularly price reviews and adjustments)

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management of metal parts, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Extensive technical knowledge
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Experienced in working in projects
• Persuasion skills and assertiveness
• Analytical mindset and holistic thinking
• Desire to work in interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Fluent in German and English
• Willingness to travel
