C++ Engineer - Remote

Project Description:

As a Software Developer at Capgemini, you will be part of an Agile team delivering data acquisition and analysis software utilizing C++ to design, develop, test, and debug enhancements or bug fixes. This individual will engage in technical discussions, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and present and share ideas through global collaboration.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• 6+ years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of C++ experience, with at least 2+ years of experience delivering solutions in Windows
• Experience mentoring software engineers of varied levels of experience and across geographies to improve their understanding of the software architecture and development process
• Experience eliciting and writing software requirements, use cases and user stories
• Experience with estimating and planning software development projects
• Experience with unit testing and automation, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
• Experience with Oracle DB, SQL
• Experience with Object Oriented Design and UML
• Experience following formal software development processes
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills including excellent client facing skills and team leadership skills

Top Skill Requirement

• Understanding of MFC/WPF application framework
• RDBMS and SQL experience
• Experience developing software for regulatory approval

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree in Computers Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical degree
