We’re looking for a Category Manager – Proximity Format to join our team and play a key role in shaping the assortment and commercial strategy of our Express stores network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and adapt the product assortment for Express stores based on store location, customer profiles, consumption trends, and overall commercial strategy.
• Analyze category performance (sales, stock, profitability, rotation) and propose optimization actions.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to implement promotions, seasonal collections, and local initiatives.
• Monitor competition and market evolution, adjusting assortment and strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate the activity of the store network to improve market share and customer experience.
• Communicate and implement the Proximity BU strategy across regions and teams.
• Lead and develop your team, ensuring alignment, engagement, and continuous growth.
• Contribute to achieving business objectives, controlling costs and identifying growth opportunities.

What we’re looking for

• 3–5 years of experience in Category Management, Retail Buying, or Merchandising (preferably in proximity or supermarket formats).
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable decisions.
• Strategic mindset and agility to adapt to market and consumer behavior changes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a results-oriented approach.
• Experience in team management and development.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and entrepreneurial attitude.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the store network.
