What You’ll Be Doing

• Contributes to the target setting process by centralizing quantitative information (hypotheses recorded in EPM Dragon, other available indicators) and qualitative information (external environment analysis, comments for variations, opportunities, and risks, etc.) in templates used locally or in communication with the group.
• Responsible for implementing/reviewing new performance measurement formats – new P&L and management PL.
• Part of the center of excellence for financial management and accounting standards and norms, contributing to the implementation and use of performance projects and systems, implementing program initiatives according to established deadlines.
• Contributes to the translation of business models into financial accounting regulations and to creating a common understanding of the interdependencies between commercial and operational points of view and pure financial opinion.
  

This Role Contains Activities Like

• Responsible for the accuracy of the information provided within the Controlling & Financial Planning & Analysis team, within the Orange Romania organization, the Central Financial Department of the Group, as well as the Executive Committee of the company
• Contributes to the approval process of purchase orders for the area of responsibility (including performance, analysis, and presentation)
• Part of the center of excellence for financial management and accounting standards and norms, contributing to the implementation and use of performance projects and systems; implementing program initiatives according to established deadlines
• Contributes to the translation of business models into financial accounting regulations and to create a common understanding of the interdependencies between commercial and operational points of view and pure financial opinion
• Identifies the fastest way to implement digital reports for company performance, builds the digitalization plan for the area of responsibility and ensures its implementation according to the established dates
• Designs and performs internal control activities on processes, activities and on the accuracy of financial reports and presentations
• Contributes to the target setting process for the area of responsibility (hypothesis collection, critical and business analysis of hypotheses, presentation)
• Contributes to the creation of the mid-month financial performance estimation process (including analysis and presentation).
  

What You Need To Know/have

• This position requires at least 2 years of experience as controlling business partner or similar
• Relevant experience in strategic & major projects
• University degree in Finance / Economics / Business Data Analysis/ Business, or any similar discipline with a clear analytical bias
• Knowledge of end-to-end controlling activities and processes
• Business analysis & modelling knowledge
• Business process improvement
• Demonstrable financial acumen, including deep familiarity with variance analysis, as well as in root cause data interpretation
• Forecasting, modelling & simulation knowledge
• Reporting techniques (i.e. dashboard, reports, trends, graphs, etc.)
• Experienced with large-scale data mining and reporting tools; you can provide recommendations for strategic decision-making
• Business acumen: understanding of a telecom operators’ business, operational processes
• Awareness of relevant legislative requirement
• Advanced level proficiency in Excel (macros, pivots, lookups and more) and Power Point is a must.
• English and Romanian advanced verbal and written skills; French is considered a plus
