Key Responsibilities:

• Group reporting – Prepare group reporting packages and consolidated financial reports.
• Financial statements – Deliver financial statement reports under both local GAAP and IFRS.
• Cost allocation – Review the accuracy of cost assignments across projects and cost centers.
• Fixed assets – Prepare fixed asset reports and record disposals or retirements.
• Intercompany – Review intercompany transactions and perform balance reconciliations.
• Prepaid expenses – Monitor and control prepaid expenses.
• Cash flow – Prepare short-term cash flow forecasts.
• Bank reconciliation – Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Accruals & deferrals – Record and monitor accruals and deferrals based on discussions with operational teams.
• Provisions – Record provisions according to operational input.
• Payroll accounting – Post payroll-related accounting entries based on data from payroll providers.
• Journal entries – Post recurring journal entries.
• Tax compliance – Prepare draft tax returns for local tax advisors and draft Corporate Income Tax returns following guidance from local advisors and the Corporate Tax team.
• VAT & CIT support – Submit supporting information for VAT, CIT, and other tax matters through dedicated tools.
• Audit coordination – Support and coordinate the annual external audit process.
• Budgeting – Prepare annual budgets and analyze monthly variances.
• ERP management – Request creation or modification of GL accounts and new projects in the ERP system.
• Process improvement – Identify opportunities to improve processes and share them with relevant stakeholders.
• Procedures – Prepare and continuously update operating procedures and process documentation.
• Communication – Maintain ongoing communication with the Supervisor, ensuring visibility of risks or critical issues.

What we’re looking for:

• Solid accounting background – Strong understanding of general ledger processes, financial reporting, and IFRS/local GAAP principles.
• Analytical mindset – Ability to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and propose improvements.
• Nice to have - Previous experience within a Big 10 accounting or audit firm, bringing strong technical foundations and a structured approach to financial processes
