As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will support MSOL Global Business Intelligence programs by leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure services.

The role focuses on the technical design and implementation of data gathering, integration, and modeling, as well as developing reports and dashboards as needed.

You will work with Azure DevOps, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI to build and maintain scalable data models that enable both strategic insights and self-service Business Intelligence across the organization.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architectures, ensuring reliable data flow across systems.
• Develop database models and cloud-native data solutions in Azure and Microsoft Fabric (Dataflow Gen2, Data Lake, Pipelines, Notebooks).
• Collaborate with DBAs, developers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
• Create and maintain visual reports, dashboards, and critical metric scorecards using Power BI and SQL Reporting Services.
• Translate business requirements into robust, practical data reports and applications, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Provide data analysis and reconciliation expertise, supporting insights and decision-making across business units.
• Act as a liaison between multi-functional teams, resolving new BI requests and aligning with business partners.
• Drive strategic MSOL global projects, developing and scaling databases to support enterprise-level decisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and recommending innovative solutions.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering collaboration, alignment, and knowledge-sharing across local and global teams.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology.
• 4 years of experience in cloud data engineering or a similar role.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies, in creating dimensional models, in leading data-related projects, and in designing and building architecture components for data ecosystems. 
• Extensive experience with database object creations like tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and jobs.
• Experience setting up sophisticated ETL processes involving relational and non-relational data.
• Knowledge of Python, Scala, and Agile Frameworks. 
• Knowledge of the following technologies is desired:
  • Azure Repos (Git)
  • CI/CD pipelining (Azure Data Factory)
  • Big Data Technology
  • Power BI
