The Impact You Will Create

• You manage and continuously optimize the technical workflows through efficient automation and development in Go and/or Python
• You are responsible for the provisioning of block storage volumes based on OpenStack and continuously optimize them in terms of performance and availability
• You operate and manage the surrounding Linux-based system landscapes and ensure the high availability of our cloud infrastructure
• You are part of a motivated team that is dedicated to continuous improvement and constantly developing itself (and the products)

Experience And Skills You Will Need

• You have a passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and topics related to Linux, automation, virtualization and networking
• You are proficient in Python and/or Go, with solid experience in the software development lifecycle for building automation and tools.
• You actively drive the improvement of availability and scalability and strive to automate processes
• You are able to analyze and efficiently solve complex technical problems and have experience in performing root cause analysis (RCA)
• You have several years of hands-on experience implementing and managing OpenStack and Kubernetes environments, including deployment, scaling, and optimization
• You have deep expertise in OpenStack services, particularly Cinder and Nova
• You have experience with OpenStack upstream development
