Responsibilities
Job Description

• Precision Measurement: Utilize advanced measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, special purpose gauges, and scales to generate and verify part dimensions throughout the machining process
• Quality Assurance: Achieve and maintain all required tolerances and finishes, producing top-quality parts efficiently and in compliance with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality standards
• Attention to Detail: Maintain continuous visual concentration to develop and uphold precise tolerances, ensuring all characteristics generated at designated operations conform through applicable inspection techniques
• Equipment Setup and Operation: Perform setup and operation of equipment according to drawings, method sheets, and occasionally supplement this information with your own job knowledge
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothly and efficiently
• Training and Mentorship: Temporarily train operators on equipment usage, sharing your expertise and knowledge
• Housekeeping: Maintain an orderly work area, exercising care in the use of facilities and materials, and uphold good housekeeping practices
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety requirements, and actively participate in a team-based environment, including daily team meetings and activities.
• Tool Utilization: Use all necessary tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to perform operations effectively
• Safety Procedures: Follow safety procedures and utilize proper PPE and safety equipment at all times
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar CNC Machine Operator role.
• Familiarity with Siemens or Fanuc operating systems.
