For our customer in Vienna, we are looking for a full remote QA Test Engineer. We are looking for a contractor with at least +3 years of QA Test Engineer experience in a C#/.NET environment. Hands-on practical experience with developing UI test automation with Selenium using C#/.NET is required.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Act as a QA focal point to development teams when communicating with Quality Assurance Team members;
• Provide support for Quality Assurance and related services and help to expand and improve the effectiveness of these services;
• Create, execute, automate, and manage test cases and test plans for existing and newly developed systems;
• Support the software development process and implementation of new software releases by testing applications and services, using established standards for IT technologies and tools;
• Participate in the specification, design, automation and support of software and services from a quality assurance perspective;
• Draft technical documentation for software and services in the form of test cases and user stories;
• Draft correspondence, communications and test reports as necessary;
• Keep abreast of developments in the field of quality assurance;
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned;

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
• +3 years of daily, hands-on practical experience in providing software quality assurance for medium-large sized development teams is required.
• +3 years of daily, hands-on practical experience in developing Test Automation Frameworks or designing automated testing suites is required.
• +3 years of daily, hands-on practical experience with regular release testing and clearance using Agile development approaches such as SCRUM is required.
• +3 years of daily, hands-on practical experience with managing test code and definitions using Software Configuration Management and integrating testing and clearance processes with build tools such as Azure DevOps Services is required.
• At least 1 year of daily hands-on practical experience with git source control including branching and processing of pull requests is required.
• +3 years of daily, hands-on practical experience with developing UI test automation with Selenium using C#/.NET is required.
• +3 years daily, hands-on experience in servicing distributed development teams, Quality Assurance team members, and clients is required.
• Daily, hands-on practical experience with writing test cases using Gherkin syntax is desirable;
• Daily, hands-on practical experience with testing software for Prince2 based projects is desirable;
• Experience in testing applications hosted in Cloud Services (Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Service) is desirable;.
• International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Foundation certification or similar certification is an advantage;
• Fluent in English;
