Collections Agent with German

to join our Collections Team in our Bucharest office.

What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?

As a Collections Agent, you’ll play a key role in managing overdue accounts and the repossession/disposal process for vehicles from terminated contracts. You’ll be directly in contact with customers, dealerships, and external partners to ensure smooth and professional debt recovery and vehicle remarketing operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage overdue accounts and drive effective debt recovery strategies, engaging directly with customers, agencies, and partners.
• Oversee the end-to-end vehicle repossession and remarketing process for terminated contracts, including auction coordination and bid negotiation.
• Prepare and transmit daily lists of unpaid accounts to third-party agents, ensuring accurate reporting and payment processing.
• Provide expert support and guidance to clients, external collection agencies, and internal teams on complex cases.
• Handle inquiries from official bodies and institutions, ensuring full compliance with legal and internal procedures.
• Monitor and analyze creditor files, ensuring proper documentation and coordination with recovery partners.
• Manage online payment transactions and identify areas for process improvement to prevent collection delays.
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping of all interactions and promptly report any suspicious activities.
• Act as a mentor, providing training and support to new team members and colleagues on complex situations

Are we looking for you? Yes, if…

• You are fluent in German and can confidently communicate over the phone and via email with external partners.
• You have basic fluency in English to understand training sessions and work documentation.
• You have experience in collections or financial services, preferably with a background in the automotive industry.
• You have a positive attitude, oriented towards problem solving and results, ability to make decisions, analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, organizational skills to guarantee quality and on-time delivery
• Ability to work in a team and adaptability on several levels of the organization
