A Snapshot of Your DayThis role is being created to support the Project Support team in managing the commercial aspects of 8-10 new projects anticipated under the Energinet Framework. As a Senior Professional, the position is essential for ensuring financial control and successful execution of this significant increase in project volume for the Offshore Denmark business unit. To address this business need, the role will focus on three core areas: comprehensive commercial project management, rigorous financial planning and control, and proactive stakeholder and risk management. This structure ensures that all financial, scheduling, and relational aspects of the new projects are expertly managed from initiation through to completion. Given the focus on commercial oversight and project execution, the ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge in project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling. A proven ability to manage complex project lifecycles independently, coupled with strong negotiation and influencing skills, is critical for success in this position.How You'll Make An ImpactManage all commercial and financial aspects of assigned projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting.Oversee the complete project invoicing and billing lifecycle to ensure timely and accurate financial flows.Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports, status updates, and performance analyses to management and key stakeholders.Ensure project execution adheres to contractual agreements, commercial terms, and internal financial governance standards.Lead the financial closing process for projects, ensuring all commercial obligations are met and documented.Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for multiple projects.Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.Track project progress against key milestones and budgets, identifying and resolving obstacles to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.Identify, evaluate, and mitigate commercial, financial, and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle.Serve as the primary commercial point of contact, managing relationships and communications with internal teams, clients, and vendors.Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals, providing guidance on project management best practices.What You BringBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial project management, project controlling, or a related financial role.Demonstrated experience managing the financial aspects of multiple complex projects concurrently.Experience in commercial project management, including project lifecycle management, project scoping and scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, project documentation, and contract management to ensure effective financial control, successful project delivery, and alignment with business objectives.Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation, including risk management, negotiation, influencing skills, and customer relationship management to support effective decision???making and stakeholder alignment.Commitment to quality and process excellence, including quality assurance and process improvement practices to enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance with standards, and drive continuous improvement.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, demonstrating recognized expertise in project management principles, methodologies, and best practices to support effective planning, execution, risk management, and successful project delivery.About The TeamOur Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
