During the commissioning of our HVDC systems worldwide, we ensure the flawless functionality and quality. Our diverse and multinational teams work closely with project management, system, and component engineering to provide custom solutions based on the latest innovations in HVDC technology.How You’ll Make An ImpactYou are responsible for technically flawless, on-time and economical handling of the commissioning of HVDC systems on our construction sites (worldwide) especially for data networks and individual components of network communication SCADA- Level Responsibility for the commissioning, support, and control of the predominantly TCP/IP-based network infrastructure, HMI concept, and their purpose-specific adaptationResponsibility for time synchronization as well as the local and remote signal converter and thus interface to all other involved signal suppliersSupport for other commissioning components as well as customers and external partners in troubleshooting and testing communication interfacesSupport for IBS management in quality, risk, and claim managementParticipation in improvement programs (including Lean, reviews, and lessons learned)What You BringCompleted degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable education / qualificationExperience in network administration (switches, routers, etc.), basic HMI, and PC administration (hardware and virtualization)Basic knowledge of network protocols (including TCP/IP, RADIUS) as well as network security and monitoringAbility to communicate complex technical information clearly and preciselyFluent in English, German is a plus International Driving License, class BHandling of circuit diagrams and electrical systems / measuring instruments Preferable Skilled electrician Willingness for worldwide business trips and long-term assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad, as well as optional assignments on offshore platforms (> 6 Month)Teamplayer, communicative, proactive, positive handling of conflicts, decision-making capabilityAbout The TeamOur Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
