Founded in 2009 in Berlin, betahaus became one of the first coworking spaces in Europe and a place where people could break from the traditional office environment. One where people could collaborate. Since the very beginning we host, educate, entertain and boost a new generation of leaders. Our members create a healthy mix of some of the most disruptive startups, digital and marketing agencies, global tech companies, corporate representatives, designers, architects and other amazing freelance brains. We have a powerful web of affluent partnerships with coworking spaces around the world, with global leaders in the technology, finance, digital and marketing industries, with government and non governmental organisations.
betahaus is about being in beta. About always being open to change, and never getting stuck in routines just because they’re comfortable. We love to innovate and we hack our traditions, structures, concepts and spaces constantly. Today betahaus is widely used as a synonym to coworking and a flexible office environment. Our locations in Berlin, Hamburg, Sofia, Barcelona and Bucharest host over 2000 people on a daily basis.
JOB PURPOSE
The role is designed to build an engaged and connected community both online and offline. Your focus will be on building connections with members on-site, making them feel at home, and managing the onboarding process. Simultaneously, you will lead the creation of content that brings our brand to life across social media platforms. You are a people-oriented team player and a creative storyteller who will act as an ambassador of our brand and values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
community & operations
- Organize tours and test days for potential members;
- Ensure existing members’ satisfaction by constantly collecting feedback and solving problems;
- Execute processes related to onboarding new members and troubleshooting facilities like Wi-Fi, printing, access, and security;
- Build connections between members and strengthen the relationships within the community.
social media & content creation
- Create and manage engaging content across our social media platforms, maintaining a consistent tone and visual identity;
- Capture and repurpose real moments from the community;
- Track performance and trends to optimize reach and engagement.
events & experience
- Support the planning, execution, and promotion of community events and gatherings.
PROFILE
- 2 - 4 years of working experience in roles with a proven track record of delivering results and meeting targets.
- Experience in client-facing, reception, in-person, front-office or other people-oriented positions.
- Experience with social media platforms, other digital products and creating digital content.
- Understanding of and experience in the entrepreneurship ecosystem is an advantage.
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic and bright personality.
- Flexible, adaptable and “ready-to-help” attitude.
- Fluent in English and Romanian, mastery of other foreign languages is an advantage.
