Cometex, the commercial developer company of Altex holding, is looking for a new member to complete the Architecture/Development team.

Responsibilities:

• Provides a wide variety of architectural design operations within the organization’s ongoing and future development projects.
• Understand project’s objectives and follows them throughout implementation.
• Collect and assemble project information.
• Maintain an open and efficient line of communication and information exchange with third parties and involved functions.
• Coordinate with all involved parties to achieve established goals and meet deadlines.
• Participate at concept, design and construction meetings.
• Working at the visual parts of the project (rendering, visual presentations, tenant implementations).
• Keep a healthy communication line with all involved parties, from center and technical managers to asset directors and leasing colleagues.
• Develop required and requested research, information and layouts according to current planning and objectives.
• Maintain and updates project’s general information.
• Understand general building codes, construction methods and phases.
• Comply to company internal regulations.

Requirements:

• Excellent organization, planning, motivation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to comprehend the bigger picture of the project, in relation to other design specialties. Critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment, and decision-making ability.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented with multitasking skills.
• Ability to learn, implement and adapt company’s development criteria.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines, in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and be self-driven.
• Availability to travel for visiting the company’s projects, when required (approx. 10 % of the working time).
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• Minimum 2-3 (or more) years of experience in a medium-large design office or development company (developer or contractor).
• Solid knowledge of AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Solid knowledge in 3D modeling visual effects, in software like Rhino, V-ray, Sketchup, Lumion.
• Previous experience in retail is not mandatory but is preferable.
