G2 are supporting a large EPC to recruit a Freelance Construction Manager to oversee Wind Turbine construction projects located in Romania. The successful candidate must have experience with Nordex wind turbines, and Transelectrica (Romania’s TSO).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities across civil, electrical, and turbine installation scopes.

• Oversee installation and commissioning of Nordex wind turbines, ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

• Act as the main point of contact with Transelectrica for grid compliance, energisation, and permitting processes.

• Manage EPC contractors and subcontractors, ensuring delivery against project timelines, budget, and KPIs.

• Enforce HSE standards and ensure full compliance with Romanian regulations and company policies.

Requirements to be considered:

• Proven experience as a Wind Construction Manager on utility-scale wind projects.

• Hands-on experience working with Nordex turbines (installation, commissioning, or full lifecycle).

• Strong knowledge of Romanian grid connection processes and prior interaction with Transelectrica.

• Fluent in English; Romanian language skills highly advantageous (C1+).

• Ability to work full-time on-site in Romania with flexibility for project demands.
