We are looking for a new colleague for the position of Construction Project Manager to join our team and coordinate the works related to the opening and refurbishment of locations within the Lagardere Travel Retail portfolio. The new colleague will manage the entire process while considering the department’s objectives regarding costs and implementation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and monitors all aspects related to preparing the space for opening a store, from the design stage to handing it over to the Operations department;
• Collaborates with the internal project team (Designers, Operations team, Expansion Managers, etc.) and external partners;
• Is involved in procurement, tendering, and invoicing procedures related to assigned projects; requests and negotiates price offers for store fit-out works and obtains internal approvals according to working procedures;
• Defines the design brief for architects, structural engineers, and external installation engineers based on the proposed layout for the location;
• Ensures that technical projects comply with company policy, best practice rules, and the tenant manual/specifications;
• Conducts site visits to ensure that the works meet quality standards and are in line with company policy, best practice rules, technical projects, and technical documents received from landlords;
• Supervises the quality of works, actual quantities executed, monitors documentation of all variations, and updates contracts;
• Identifies and proposes technical solutions and new suppliers for construction/installation and furniture works.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Construction, Building Installations or a related field;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position (previous experience in Retail is an advantage);
• Category B driving license;
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office/AutoCAD;
• Availability for occasional travel within the country;
• Excellent communication and project management skills;
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously;
• Team player.
