• An expert in Romanian tax regulations and local accounting principles, capable of seamlessly managing tax declarations and interacting with tax agencies.

• An expert in Romanian payroll and labor legislation, capable of seamlessly processing payroll and interacting with labor and social security authorities.

• A proven reporter with verifiable experience preparing financial statements and closing books.

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Bucharest. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the company’s day-to-day accounting, financial, and payroll activities, ensuring compliance with Romanian legislation, statutory requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities :

• Take ownership of the ledger by executing monthly and annual accounting closings and preparing financial statements, in accordance with Romanian legislation.

• Prepare and submit statutory tax declarations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Own and administer the company's accounting, tax, and management software, including implementing new functionality in line with Romanian legislation, acting as the main point of contact.

• Process all bank payments and track daily financial movements, maintaining complete, accurate, and well-organized supporting documentation for all transactions.

• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with Romanian labor and payroll regulations.

• Coordinate the implementation of in-house payroll, working across departments to ensure a smooth transition.

• Drive financial planning by developing monthly and annual treasury budgets and performing cost analyses to optimize expenditures.

• Maintain strict internal controls, including invoice verification and logging of business trips.
