The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing and reviewing accounting entries;
• Reviewing and validating supporting accounting documents;
• Preparing trial balances and financial statements;
• Preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly tax returns;
• Performing account reconciliations and reviewing account balances;
• Coordinating and supervising day-to-day accounting activities;
• Ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines and reporting obligations;
• Collaborating with auditors, tax authorities, clients, and internal departments;
• Providing support during tax inspections and audit engagements;
• Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, as well as internal accounting policies and procedures;
• Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies;
• Providing support and guidance to other members of the team.What

PKF Tax Partner is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Timișoara.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a colleague who meets the following requirements:

• Minimum three years of experience in a Senior Accountant position;
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, at C1 level;
• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Solid knowledge of Romanian tax legislation and accounting principles;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word;
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail;
• Excellent communication, organizational, and priority-management skills;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Proactive attitude, accountability, and a results-oriented mindset.
