Envipco is the only company in Romania that locally manufactures smart reverse vending machines for collecting beverage containers, with production based in Alba County.
Together with a dedicated nationwide service and maintenance team, the company supports the local economy by collaborating with Romanian suppliers and distributing its equipment across European markets.
Envipco actively contributes to the development of the deposit-return system and the transition toward a circular economy.
For our team in Sebeș (Alba County), we are looking for a:
Continuous Improvement Specialist
Role Purpose
The Continuous Improvement Process Specialist is responsible for identifying, leading, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the factory. The goal is to increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, and embed a culture of continuous improvement using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and TPM. The position is primarily based in Romania, with potential assignments on international projects in locations such as Germany, Greece, and the United States.
Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, plan, and execute continuous improvement projects in production and support processes.
  • Use tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, SMED, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and DMAIC to analyze processes and reduce waste.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify deviations, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional teams in improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions (Kaizen, Lean tools) for shop floor and support staff.
  • Collaborate closely with departments such as production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Monitor and report the progress of improvement initiatives and KPIs to management.
  • Actively promote and support a continuous improvement mindset across the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or other technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt certification is a plus).
  • Experience in facilitating change and improvement projects.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven; proficiency in Excel, Minitab, Power BI or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
  • Advanced level of English (spoken and written).
