The Contracting Manager role combines legal-commercial responsibilities with contract management for energy and industrial projects. The person will ensure the management, implementation, and monitoring of contracts, protecting the company’s interests, as well as monitoring applicable legislation and communicating it within the organization. The role requires close collaboration with commercial, bidding, project management, finance, and legal teams.

This role is responsible for managing and overseeing contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting business objectives in energy and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and EPC / FIDIC contracts
• Monitor contract execution and compliance with contractual clauses
• Identify and manage legal and commercial risks, proposing mitigation measures
• Support negotiations and clarifications with clients, subcontractors, and partners
• Analyze contractual clauses and assess their financial and legal impact
• Ensure contract compliance with applicable legislation, internal standards, and ANRE / IEC / FIDIC regulations
• Monitor current legislation and disseminate relevant information within the company
• Prepare periodic reports on contract performance, margins, and profitability
• Collaborate with legal, finance, project management, and bidding teams to optimize contract processes

Qualifications

• University degree in Law, Business, or Engineering (Commercial / EPC Law – advantage)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing and negotiating contracts for energy / EPC projects
• Legal-commercial expertise in EPC / FIDIC contracts and public/private procurement procedures

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of contractual risks, technical-financial clauses, and legal frameworks
• Experience in monitoring legislation and disseminating it within an organization
• Negotiation and client/partner relationship management skills
• English – intermediate / advanced
