What We’re Looking For
Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis team in Orange is a dynamic team acting in the world of Finance while being a valuable partner for business. We are looking for a curious talented Controlling Business Partner to join our team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial reports, highlighting variances, trends and actionable insights
• Manage end-to-end controlling reporting activities, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Oversee Management P&L /New P&L/ any other format processes, including the development and validation of allocation keys for cost and revenues distribution
  

Data Management & Tools & Automation

• Design and maintain standardized Excel and PowerPoint templates for monthly follow-ups, forecasts and business reviews.
• Translate the traditional formats into digital dashboards capitalizing on data & AI capabilities
• Enhance efficiency by automating routine reporting processes using tools such as: Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy
  

Performance Analysis

• Perform year-over-year (YoY) and actual vs. budget/target comparisons to track performance against objectives
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities or risks (e.g., cost optimization, revenue growth)
• Perform root-cause (by drivers) analysis for budget deviations and recommend corrective actions Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning
• Collaborate with operational teams to develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts using one of: Bottom-up/ Zero-based/Top-down approaches
• Monitor adherence to budgets and provide detailed variance analyses with recommendations for corrective measures.

What You Need To Know/have

• Experience: min 2 years in senior financial position or similar
• Business analysis & modelling, forecasting
• Reporting techniques (i.e. dashboard, reports, trends, graphs, etc.)
• Knowledge of end-to-end controlling activities and processes
• Understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals
• English language - fluent; French is considered a plus
• Planning and organizational skills
• Analytical thinking, critical thinking
• Influence and persuasion in transversal relations
• Management reporting & presentation skills, able to translate operational drivers into financial KPI’s
• Dynamic, proactive attitude, adaptability and curiosity
• RPA & Data & AI is a plus
• Business/finance/economics/ or related areas graduate; post-graduate qualification in these areas is a plus
