Job DescriptionWood is currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator for a Night Shift assignment working a 21/21 offshore rotation to support a Romanian based project for a minimum of 6 months.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major gas infrastructure project, supporting the safe and efficient operation of metering and production facilities.While all applications are welcome, candidates with the right to work in the EU will be given preference during the selection process.The RoleLocation: Romania/Offshore SiteRotation: 21:21Duration: Minimum 6 monthsThe Crane Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of offshore lifting operations supporting the well clean-up campaign, GPP back-gassing activities, and hydrocarbon export operations. This role involves conducting pre-start-up crane checks, ensuring Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements are met, and managing deck logistics, cargo handling, and container movements in accordance with operational and safety procedures.The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Supervisor and Start-up Team and will ensure all lifting activities are planned and executed safely while maintaining effective communication across offshore teams. We are committed to continuous improvement, embracing new ways of working to deliver smarter, more sustainable solutions.ResponsibilitiesSupport offshore start-up and commissioning activities to ensure a safe and efficient transition into productionSupport export pipeline commissioning and hydrocarbon transfer to onshore facilitiesProvide technical and operational support during commissioning, start-up, and early production phasesConduct pre-start-up crane inspections and ensure PTW requirements are in place before operationsOperate offshore cranes safely for lifting, cargo handling, and logistics activitiesCoordinate with the Production Supervisor and Start-up Team to support daily operational requirementsManage deck activities, container movements, and material handling on the NAPEnforce HSE procedures and safe lifting practicesParticipate in risk assessments and toolbox talksEnsure compliance with PTW and lifting operation requirementsIdentify workplace hazards and support emergency response activitiesQualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?
