We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Engagement Manager to bridge the gap between our technical delivery teams and our clients across Europe, with a primary focus on the German market. In this role, you will be the face of the company, managing key client relationships while possessing the deep technical background in fixed and fiber-optic networks required to understand, solution, and deliver on customer needs.

The ideal candidate blends exceptional communication skills with hands-on proficiency in Outside Plant (OSP) design and modern GIS-based network planning tools.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Engagement

• Act as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for European telecom clients, specifically interfacing with German enterprises and network operators.
• Translate complex client requirements into actionable technical scopes for engineering and design teams.
• Conduct high-level presentations, project progress reviews, and technical workshops with customer stakeholders.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by managing expectations, resolving delivery bottlenecks, and proactively addressing project risks.

Technical Guidance & OSP Design Oversight

• Leverage your deep understanding of Fixed and Fiber Networks (FTTx) to guide network planning and design discussions.
• Utilize and review projects within advanced GIS and planning suites, including Aramis, IQGeo, 3GIS, and other industry-standard fiber planning tools.
• Ensure that OSP design workflows comply with localized engineering standards and German regulatory frameworks (e.g., DIN standards, DigiNetz-Gesetz guidelines).

Role Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Language Skills: Professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is strictly required. You must be comfortable leading technical negotiations in both languages.
• Experience: Proven track record in a customer-facing role (Account Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Customer Success Manager) within the telecom infrastructure sector.
• Regional Context: Direct experience working with or for German telecommunications companies (e.g., Deutsche Telekom, regional AltNets, or major construction partners) is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong technical proficiency in fixed-line architecture and OSP (Outside Plant) fiber design.
• Hands-on experience or deep familiarity with asset management and design tools like Aramis, IQGeo, or 3GIS.
• Solid grasp of spatial data and general GIS-based workflows for fiber deployment.

Nice-to-Have Background

• Prior experience with fixed-line and fiber network monitoring systems (active/passive network monitoring, fiber testing/OTDR solutions, or network assurance tools).
• Familiarity with local German permitting processes (public authority approvals).
