For our client, a leading multinational company in the automotive industry, we are recruiting a Senior Customer Project Manager.
Candidate Profile (Must-Have):

• Education: Completed university degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical).

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the automotive industry (R&D/E&D), having successfully delivered 2-3 full project lifecycles from scratch.

• Customer Facing: Direct experience in leading communication with automotive customers (relationship management alongside Sales, escalations, delivery, timeline, quality).

• Technical Background: Strong technical understanding of products, ideally with a combined technical background (SW+HW, HW+Mechanical, or SW+Mechanical).

• Project Scope & Scale: Experience managing large-scale projects (engineering budgets of EUR 4-5 million or lifetime sales exceeding tens of millions of EUR); capable of managing 2–3 projects in parallel.

• Tools & Systems: Proficiency in MS Project (or similar time-planning tools like CIMDB), SAP, SAP Business Intelligence (BI), PLM, SharePoint, and MS Teams. Managing budgets exclusively in Excel is not considered sufficient.

• Languages: Advanced English skills (C1 level, mandatory); German language skills represent an advantage.

• Soft Skills: Strategic mindset, strong negotiation skills, effective delegation, high resilience, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Project Management: Overseeing and controlling all development activities from project initiation through completion.

• Project Targets: Ensuring project cost, schedule, and quality goals (KPIs) are fully met.

• Customer Relationship: Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and leading direct communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Team Leadership: Coordinating, motivating, and organizing the project team to deliver expected outcomes.

Location & Work Model:

• Work Model: On-site in Sibiu at least 1 week / month (for candidates located outside Sibiu to connect with local teams). Local candidates work on-site in Sibiu with 1 day/week WFH (~20% remote).

• International Travel: Approximately 4-6 international business trips per year (Germany, North Macedonia, Tunisia, or client sites).
