We are looking for a person with experience in customs brokerage, able to efficiently navigate the complexity of customs processes in Romania. As a Customs Broker at M3Cargo, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the purchase, delivery and customs clearance of goods from China shipped to Romania.

We manage the logistics of approximately 10+ consolidated containers per month by sea, offering our clients a complete turnkey solution. We specialize in helping small and medium-sized enterprises optimize import costs and scale their businesses.

Key Requirements (Must-Have):

Port Experience:

• Deep knowledge of the operational structure of the Port of Constanta, specifically South Container Terminal, Agigea.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Customs Broker.
• Proven experience and direct communication with customs authorities.
• Alternative: Candidates with a background working inside the customs office will also be considered.

Hard Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Romanian and EU customs legislation.
• Ability to independently select and assign customs classification codes (TARIC/CN).
• Experience in submitting customs declarations (ECS/ICS).
• Familiarity with import permits and regulatory documentation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Pre-clearance: Preliminary selection of customs codes and identification of required permits.
• Documentation: Preliminary verification of permits and regulatory documentation for customs clearance.
• Declaration: Submission of customs declarations (import/export/transit).
• Direct Communication: Direct communication and problem-solving with customs authorities regarding clearance issues.
• Physical Presence: On-site presence at the Port of Constanta for physical inspections when required.

Secondary Responsibilities (As needed / Backup support):

• Verification of customs documentation packages.
• Communication with the port authority, shipping lines, and warehouses.
• Coordination with partner customs brokerage companies.
• Arranging courier services for cargo dispatch.

What We Offer:

Work Format: Fully remote, with mandatory visits to the port for inspections. Monday to Friday, from 8:00 (9:00) to 17:00 (18:00) with a break of 1 hour.

Competitive Salary:

Probation period (3 months): 1800 EUR NET/month.

After probation: 2000 EUR NET/month.
