As a
SOC Analyst at Smarttech247, you will play a crucial role in our security
program by monitoring and maintaining our systems. Your duties will include
following procedures to triage and investigate security alerts and escalating
issues when necessary. You will have the opportunity to receive mentorship from
senior team members and participate in activities such as refining procedures,
evaluating new security technologies, incident response, and penetration
testing.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Monitor customer security systems
  
• Collaborate with clients to address and remediate
  security concerns
  
• Participate in client calls as needed
  
• Recommend improvements to clients' security posture
  
• Utilize SIEM technologies and other tools to monitor
  security events
  
• Analyze logs from various network devices (e.g.,
  firewalls, content filters, Syslog sources, intrusion detection systems,
  vulnerability scanners, directory services, DHCP logs, Secure Email
  Gateway logs)
  
• Provide analysis and support for security events,
  identifying potential threats, anomalies, and infections, documenting
  findings, and making recommendations
  
• Conduct technical analyses on malicious code, network
  traffic, web log data, cyber intelligence, hard drives, and other forensic
  media to mitigate exploitative activities

Requirements:

• Minimum BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information

• Prior internship, coursework, or work experience in
