In this role, the person selected will be responsible for supporting the realization of Emerson's Data and Digitalization Strategy. Data Architect with Snowflake experience is expected to provide data & integration architecture direction, collaborate with technical stakeholders and provide support to IT projects.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Architect and design end-to-end Snowflake data solutions, aligning technical architecture with business objectives and enterprise standards.
• Define and implement best practices for Snowflake architecture, including data modeling, security, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Design and oversee data integration pipelines using modern ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Snowpipe, Airflow, Informatica, Talend, or cloud-native services).
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable and maintainable Snowflake-based solutions.
• Integrate data from diverse sources--on-premises systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and third-party data providers--into the Snowflake environment.
• Implement and maintain data governance, lineage, and metadata management across the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Monitor and optimize query performance, storage, and compute resources, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data models, data flows, and architectural decisions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and Snowflake capabilities, continuously improving architecture and delivery practices.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Overall 12+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data warehousing, with hands-on expertise in Snowflake.
• Proven experience designing and deploying large-scale data platforms in cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Snowflake SQL, T-SQL, or PL/SQL) and programming/scripting languages such as Python or Spark.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake features, including virtual warehouses, streams, tasks, data sharing, and security configurations.
• Strong data modeling skills (dimensional, normalized, denormalized, etc.) and familiarity with modern data architecture patterns such as Data Mesh, and Medallion.
• Experience with ETL/ELT design, data orchestration, and workflow automation tools.
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Science with a technical background (MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or any related field)
• Good interpersonal skills using English, both spoken and written, as will be working with overseas team
