We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Business Analyst with a background in Data Modelling to join our team.

This position is open at any of our locations in Romania, including the option to work remotely within the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, model, and maintain complex data structures using the Data Vault 2.0 methodology to meet organizational needs.
• Previous experience with PowerDesigner or similar modeling tools is a strong advantage.
• Transform business and functional requirements into clear, scalable, and efficient data models.
• Define technical specifications and data transformation logic to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through rigorous analysis and validation.
• Apply best practices, standards, and methodologies for data analysis and modeling.
• Utilize SQL to query, manipulate, and summarize data, providing assurance of data reliability and consistency.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and QA Engineers to deliver incremental value in each sprint.
• Define clear user stories for the development pipeline and ensure alignment between technical and business stakeholders.
• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to support iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring shared understanding across teams.
• Knowledge of banking reporting standards (FINREP, COREP) or risk parameters (PD, LGD, EAD) is a plus.

Requirements:

Technical Knowledge:

• Experience with data modelling (Data Vault 2.0, relational, logical, dimensional, etc)
• Experience in translating business and functional requirements into data models
• At least 3 years extensive SQL experience (writing, reading & analysis interpretation)
• Thinking in data sets, understanding relationships in a complex data model
• Knowledge of & experience with data analysis & data modelling methods, best practices
• Experience with data modelling tool, preferable Power Designer
• Previous exposure to Informatica OnPrem/IDMC is an advantage

Domain Knowledge:

Required Expertise in Regulatory & Risk Concepts

• Solid understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks such as FinRep and Corep.
• Familiarity with credit risk parameters ( Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD) , derivatives, etc).
• Ability to apply these concepts in data modeling
• Ability to define clear & structured user stories (for the development chain)
• Capability to handle multiple stakeholders relationship
