Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Engineer / ML Engineer located in Iaşi, with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes, developing and implementing machine learning algorithms, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of data models. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the development of cutting-edge trading tools and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Engineering and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
• Expertise in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
• Strong skills in Data Analytics and the ability to derive insights from large datasets
• Experience in building and deploying machine learning models
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python or Java
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and distributed systems
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
• Knowledge of algorithmic or financial trading systems is a strong advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
