For a cutting-edge project in agronomics/agrochemicals, we’re hiring a Data Engineer to strengthen the Data Foundation initiative for future agentic automatization and build the next-gen report/document automation engine.

Do you enjoy turning complex data flows into reliable products? Are you comfortable owning pipelines end-to-end and reducing tech debt while shipping fast? Then you’ll fit right in with our dynamic, ambitious team.

Your tasks:

·       Build the report & document automation engine. Engineer robust data pipelines from the middle layer to the final-validated documents and reports.

·       Co-design the data model & layers: Work with the Architect to co-design the middle and abstraction layers and provide hands-on consultation during construction.

·       Blueprint & automation: Create the blueprint for document automation and drive agentic/automated workflows across ingestion, transformation, and document generation.

·       Integrations with IT: We provide data into the middle layer; IT can connect to us, or we connect to IT—both directions are possible. Own the data side of the integration.

·       Quality, validation & compliance: Ensure validation and traceability across the pipeline; implement automated tests, data contracts, and audit-ready lineage.

·       Reduce tech debt: Systematically identify, prioritize, and pay down tech debt

Your training:

Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a similar field (or equivalent practical experience), ideally with a focus on data platforms, pipelines, or analytics engineering.

You are very experienced in:

·       Python & SQL for ETL/ELT, data quality checks, and document/report generation workflows.

·       Data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow or similar) and CI/CD for data.

·       Modeling middle/abstraction layers, semantic models, and reproducible transformations.

·       Validation in regulated environments (i.e. GLP), including test evidence and documentation.

·       Observability for data (logging, metrics, lineage) and production incident handling.

·       Cloud data services (any major cloud), object storage, and secrets/config management.

also have experience in:

·       Templated document/report generation and automation patterns (e.g., parameterized pipelines, templating engines).

·       Data contracts & schema governance, versioning, and migration strategies.

·       Security & compliance (access control, PII handling, audit trails).

·       Infrastructure-as-Code and containerization for reproducible data workloads.

Other features:

·       You are familiar with agile frameworks (SCRUM) and comfortable collaborating cross-functionally (Data ↔ IT).

·       Strong English skills (C1)

·       Independent, proactive, and motivated to crack hard nuts.
