The role:

We are looking for a Data Engineer for our office in VASS BRASOV, who would join a team of open-minded and personable people.

• Create and manage BigQuery datasets, tables, and access permissions using Terraform.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain scheduled queries in BigQuery using Terraform and SQL.
• Build and update dashboards in Looker Studio.
• Develop LookML models (views, explores, joins).
• Create and maintain dashboards in Looker.
• Design, implement, and monitor DAGs in Airflow.
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines using Apache Beam and Dataflow.
• Ensure data pipeline reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform as IaC.
• Collaborate through GitLab for version control and CI/CD.
• Participate in Agile workflows using Jira.
• Work cross-functionally to translate business needs into data models and dashboards.

And you?

• Strong programming skills (preferably Java).
• Experience with Apache Beam and Dataflow.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BigQuery.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (especially GCP resources).
• Proficiency in Looker and LookML development.
• Experience creating dashboards in Looker and Looker Studio.
• Experience developing DAGs in Airflow.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Jira).
• English AND Spanish Proficiency is required.
