The Opportunity: Help build the foundation of our Data Transformation Program

We have a greenfield opportunity to be part of the core implementation team for a new Data LakeHouse. Your work will be crucial in building our Data Governance Framework from an early phase, with the goal of providing trusted data to all business consumers and facilitating the Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation across the business.

For this mission, we need a specialist who will help implement the data blueprint, contribute to operationalizing data governance, and ensure that everything we build is fit for purpose, reliable, and secure.

Your Mission & Impact (Key Responsibilities)

As Data Governance Specialist you will be an important pillar ensuring our new data ecosystem is built fit for purpose, from day one.

• Apply the "Single Source of Truth": Help implement and enforce enterprise-wide data policies, standards, and controls, with a primary focus on the data consolidated within our new data solutions.
• Contribute to our Enterprise Data Catalog: Help build our data catalog and business glossary, making data discoverable, understandable, and trustworthy for everyone: business stakeholders, business analysts, data engineers, and AI teams.
• Support a Culture of Data Quality: Implement and monitor data quality rules and integrate them into the ingestion pipelines, ensuring the data quality monitoring and remediation
• Be a Key Collaborator for our AI Teams: Provide the clean, structured, and trustworthy data needed to train and deploy models that will change our business.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce security and data access policies within the new data solutions, guaranteeing compliance with internal standards and external regulations like GDPR.

Who We're Looking For :

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Architecture role.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) and data modeling concepts for Data lake, Data Warehousing, Data Marts
• Demonstrable experience implementing data policies and controls in a complex organizational environment.
• Demonstarted knowledge of data modeling and business analysis.
• Hands-on experience governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, DataPlex, Ataccama) and with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business leaders.
• Understanding of the data lifecycle in Machine Learning/AI projects.
