This is the build-the-plumbing role. You'll stand up and run the data platform that everyone else builds on, for a large regulated organisation modernising its data estate.
What You'll Do

• Build and operate the Snowflake platform on AWS, running on OpenShift.
• Own CI/CD for data: deployment pipelines, environments, and the tooling that lets data engineers ship safely.
• Treat infrastructure as code and keep the platform reliable, observable, and secure.
• Partner with the architect and data engineers to turn design into working platform.
  

What We're Looking For

• Strong Snowflake platform experience, not just querying it.
• Solid AWS and container experience, ideally OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Real CI/CD experience applied to data workloads.
• An infrastructure-as-code mindset and a habit of automating the boring parts.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot as part of your everyday workflow.
  

Bonus points for experience in a regulated or financial services setting.
