Who We AreWe are looking for an experienced Data Platform Engineer with German (Microsoft SQL Server & BI) to join a large-scale telecommunications environment and support the existing RepSaS data landscape. The role has a strong focus on legacy support, operational stability, troubleshooting, and the controlled retirement of existing databases and data solutions. The successful candidate will work with long-established Microsoft SQL Server and BI environments, supporting the analysis, maintenance, consolidation, migration, and decommissioning of databases, ETL pipelines, interfaces, reports, and semantic models.The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Solution Design, Operations, business stakeholders, and adjacent data and platform teams to ensure stable operations while progressively reducing legacy dependencies.
