Data Protection Manager Associate – MyData-TRUST

MyData-TRUST is looking for a motivated Data Protection Manager Associate (DPMA) to join our multidisciplinary team of data protection lawyers, IT specialists, and clinical professionals. You will contribute to delivering high-quality data privacy services to Life Sciences clients while developing your expertise in data privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of services and deliverables to clients in line with Work Orders.
• Assist in project management activities for assigned clients and projects.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding data privacy queries, concerns, and requests.
• Participate in client meetings and prepare accurate meeting minutes.
• Gather necessary information and review documentation to ensure proper service delivery.
• Provide data privacy advice, consulting with team members when necessary.
• Participate in internal and approved external training sessions to enhance knowledge of data privacy.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data privacy.
• Maintain timely and accurate timesheets.

• Expertise & Knowledge Development: Apply data privacy standards under guidance, develop knowledge in Life Sciences or in other areas of interest, and contribute to company-level initiatives such as Knowledge Management, research projects, ...
• Interpersonal Skills: Communicate clearly and reliably with clients and colleagues. Demonstrate active listening, respect cultural and professional differences, and build trust.
• Openness & Adaptability: Show willingness to learn, adapt to new environments, receive feedback constructively, and proactively improve skills through training and learning.
• Language & Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Knowledge of German and French is a plus. Ability to adapt communication style to diverse audiences.

Qualifications:

• Education or experience in the life sciences field and a keen interest in GDPR and data protection.
• Experience in GDPR and data protection and a keen interest in life sciences field.
• Any certification in the life sciences/Data Protection field is an asset.
