Responsibilities

• Learning under the supervision of an experienced programmer
• Spend 30-40 hours per week for 6 months on developing yourself in your chosen field
• Working closely with your mentor on daily tasks
  

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: Statistics, Algorithms and Data Structures;
• Basic engineering skills in Python;
• Experience with VCS (preferably Git);
• Basic understanding of Data Science concepts (supervised vs unsupervised, regression vs classification, overfitting vs underfitting etc);
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL);
• English: Upper-intermediate or higher (spoken and written);
• Education: Technical education (BS or MS in a technical field or currently pursuing the degree).
  

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud services: GCP/ Azure/ AWS. Especially valuable if ML-services were used;
• Proved experience in Python engineering;
• Experience in Data Science (pet or academic projects, hackathons etc.);
• Experience of using Data Science tools and frameworks: Jupyther, scikit-learn, pandas, seaborn, pytorch etc;
• Domain knowledge outside of the Computer Science field.
