Database Operations Engineer/Database Administrator/DBA Engineer

Job Description:

Main responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the daily maintenance and management of the database, ensuring the normal operation of the database system.

2. Monitor database performance, identify and resolve basic faults and performance issues.

3. Implement database security policies to assist in ensuring data security and integrity.

4. Provide user support to solve common database problems encountered by users during use.

5. Assist in writing and updating database operation and maintenance documents to ensure their accuracy.

6. Collaborate with senior engineers and other IT teams to configure and integrate databases.

Job requirements:

Educational background:

1. College degree or above in computer science, information technology or related majors (equivalent overseas education).

hands-on background:

2.More than 1 years of experience in database management and operation, familiar with mainstream database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and proficient in maintaining mainstream cloud database products such as AWS and Azure

Certification requirements:

Database related authentication (such as Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Prioritize.

Skill requirements:

1. Familiar with the basic architecture design and maintenance techniques of databases.

2. Master basic database performance monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting techniques.

3. Possess good ability to execute security policies and assist in ensuring the security and integrity of the database.

4. Possess good communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively collaborate with other team members.

5. Possess the ability to write documents and assist in writing and maintaining database operation and maintenance documents.

Language requirements:

1. Fluent English communication skills, capable of conducting professional oral and written communication.

2. Chinese or other foreign language proficiency is preferred (such as Spanish, Malay, German, Arabic, etc.).
