Descriere:

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support the Chief Accountant in organising and controlling end-to-end accounting processes to ensure accurate bookkeeping and cost allocation.
  • Prepare and review month-end closing activities: postings, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist in year-end closing and statutory reporting: confirmations of balances, inventory results consolidation, and preparation of closing entries and draft tax calculations where applicable.
  • Prepare accounting-based reports and documentation for authorities (e.g., ANAF and the National Institute of Statistics) and other institutions, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Prepare documentation requested by banks, financial institutions and control bodies (reports, confirmations, explanations).
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions; ensure documents are complete, compliant and properly archived.
  • Monitor cash-flow related risks and highlight deviations, unusual expenses, or non-compliance; escalate to the Chief Accountant / Finance Controller.
  • Participate in internal control activities (preliminary, current and subsequent controls), inventories, and follow-up on findings to prevent waste, errors and fraud.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures and system settings to increase efficiency and compliance.
  • Stay up to date with changes in accounting, tax and labour/social security legislation and translate them into practical, compliant processes.
  • Support budgeting and planning activities by providing historical accounting information and analysis when requested.
