We are looking for a highly organized and technically proficient Design Coordinator to support the design management of a major metro infrastructure project. The role will involve coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, managing design documentation, and ensuring that design deliverables are aligned with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience working on large infrastructure projects (rail, metro, tunnels, or transportation systems) and is comfortable acting as a liaison between engineering disciplines, consultants and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the verification and approval process of design documentation
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of all design deliverables
• Liaise with designers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Monitor deadlines related to design submissions and approvals
• Identify technical risks and propose corrective or preventive solutions
• Support project management in ensuring alignment between design and execution requirements

Requirements

• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in construction or infrastructure projects
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering / Design (Civil Engineering preferred)
• Strong knowledge of design coordination and quality control processes
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects is an advantage
• Good understanding of international standards and local regulations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Professional level of English (written and spoken)
• Construction experience would be a plus
