Position Description
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevSecOps practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud environments while driving automation through Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD best practices. This role requires strong expertise in AWS architecture, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Python development, cloud security, observability, and platform engineering.
Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design and architect secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure solutions.
• Implement and manage AWS Landing Zone, multi-account strategies, and cloud governance frameworks.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, following modular and reusable design principles.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab CI/CD.
• Develop automation tools and operational scripts using Python.
• Implement and support containerized and serverless architectures leveraging AWS Fargate, Lambda, and other cloud-native services.
• Design and maintain AWS networking and security solutions, including Transit Gateway, IAM, WAF, KMS, AWS Config, and Network Firewall.
• Drive DevSecOps initiatives by integrating security controls into the software development lifecycle.
• Implement shift-left security practices, including SAST, SBOM generation, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.
• Configure and manage monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, PagerDuty, and Dynatrace.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure platform reliability, security, and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, performance, and security issues across cloud environments.
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience engineering and architecting AWS infrastructure solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Landing Zone, AWS networking and security services, and AWS multi-account strategies.
• Extensive knowledge of Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, design, and implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and administration.
• Proven experience developing high-quality automation solutions and scripts using Python.
• Thorough understanding of AWS services including Fargate, Lambda, S3, WAF, KMS, Transit Gateway, IAM, AWS Config, Inspector, and related cloud-native services.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting containerized and serverless architectures.
• Experience with SIEM and observability solutions, preferably Dynatrace.
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices, including Shift-Left Security, SBOM, SAST, and AWS Security and Compliance services such as AWS Config, Inspector, and Network Firewall.
• Strong knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting best practices using CloudWatch, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and PagerDuty.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
