We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a project with a client based in the EU.

Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months, with possible extensions
• Work model: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite in Bucharest)

Scope:

• Ensure application reliability, performance, and stability across environments (Test, UAT, Production)
• Perform incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Monitor and improve SLOs, KPIs, and system performance using SRE practices
• Configure and maintain web servers (JBoss, Apache, NGINX) and infrastructure components
• Support Oracle database performance and integration within the system landscape
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Develop and implement automation (Ansible, Bash, Python) to streamline operations
• Build and enhance monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, etc.)
• Manage environments, perform patching, maintenance, and security hardening
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, DB, Network, Security, SRE)
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and ServiceNow tickets

Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps / production environments
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
• Experience with automation and scripting (Ansible, Bash, Python)
• Solid understanding of monitoring & observability tools (Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, Zabbix, Kibana)
• Experience with web servers (JBoss, Apache, NGINX) – mandatory
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and performance tuning
• Understanding of microservices and monolithic architectures
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) and ITIL practices
