What you'll do:

• DevOps Coordination: Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight to a DevOps resource ensuring smooth CI/CD pipelines and operational excellence.

• ITIL Process Ownership: Supervise and improve ITIL processes to deliver consistent and reliable infrastructure operations.

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Maintain, and optimize scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring service availability and performance.

• Operations Support: Act as escalation point for application and infrastructure issues, collaborating with development and client support teams.

• Service Excellence: Maintain high customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution, detailed communication, and continuous service improvement.

• Environment Configuration: Lead the configuration, deployment, and upgrade of environments, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to best practices.

• Monitoring & Optimization: Develop monitoring strategies, automate routine tasks, and proactively identify areas for system performance tuning.

• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation and participate in knowledge transfer sessions across teams and stakeholders.

• On-Call Participation: Participate in the on-call rotation and coordinate response efforts, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years in infrastructure, CloudOps, or DevOps roles with leadership or mentorship experience.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments.

• 2+ years overseeing ITIL-based processes; ITIL certification is a plus.

• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Proven track record in managing production and test systems in cloud environments.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).

• Excellent troubleshooting skills across application, infrastructure, and network layers.

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and performance tuning.

• Strong communication and client-facing skills, including the ability to lead technical discussions in English.

Other preferred skills

• ITIL Foundation or higher certification.

• Exposure to service monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).

• Security-first mindset with familiarity in cloud security practices.

• Experience in regulated environments or delivering to enterprise clients.

• Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).

• Previous exposure to code changes in Python-based web frameworks such as Django and Flask.
