An exciting opportunity to join our client’s team as a DevOps Engineer and to work on a project for a major player for 20 years in the critical communications market, present in Europe, USA, Asia and Africa, who has successfully developed its Team on mission and Team on the run software solutions for administrations and businesses.

Being in the DevOps team means to share understanding between developers and operations, and sharing responsibility for the software we build. That means increasing transparency, communication, and collaboration across development, operations, and "the business".

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintaining and extending the product installation procedures
• Troubleshooting platform configuration issues related to Linux based services (nginx, mysql, etc)
• Developing Continuous Delivery systems
• Building and maintaining internal and external procedures and RPM packages
• Interacting with product development teams

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Advanced Linux operating systems knowledge (Red Hat is an advantage)
• Troubleshooting skills (fluent Linux command line usage)
• Scripting (Bash)

Any or more of the following would be highly appreciated:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Experience in the packaging (RPM)
• Network - Basic network understanding (DNS, TCP/IP)
• Experience with Ansible is a plus.
