Position overview

We are looking for a Devops Engineer to join our team for an exciting new project in collaboration with one of our clients, who will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of production systems and applications, with a significant focus on implementing large-scale DevSecOps capabilities to empower internal development teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Secrets Management tools like Hashi Corp Vault;
• Manage authentication methods, secret engines, policies, and security;
• Maintain and optimize Artifactory repositories using tools like JFrog Artifactory;
• Implement access control policies, ensure data security and compliance, and troubleshoot issues;
• Perform system administration tasks, manage services, troubleshoot issues, and configure networking on operating systems such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat;
• Manage cloud services, infrastructure provisioning, networking, security, and monitoring in environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.;
• Utilize Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible for CI/CD pipelines, automation, and orchestration;
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automating operations and maintenance tasks;
• Expertise in Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and CloudFormation;
• Build and support infrastructure using IaC tools, particularly in Azure and AWS;
• Design, develop, and implement CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines and GitHub Actions;
• Manage API-based cloud orchestration solutions, including pipelines infrastructure, secrets, certificates, and access control;
• Implement best practices for security and data protection;
• Manage tokens and certificates, and ensure security integration in pipelines;
• Proficiency in Bash or Python for scripting and automation;
• Use YAML and JSON for configuration management;
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance issues of production systems and applications.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;
• Proficiency in Go or Python;
• Hands-on experience with Hashicorp Vault, JFrog Artifactory, and Linux administration;
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform);
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible);
• Expertise in Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and CloudFormation;
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines and GitHub Actions;
• Strong scripting skills in Bash or Python;
• Demonstrate business acumen, professionalism, and respect;
• Exhibit whole leadership qualities such as self-awareness, humbleness, and understanding job requirements;
• Ability to build and manage relationships with maturity and work effectively in a global environment;
• Effective time management, dedication, and the ability to pivot between assignments;
• Well-organized, excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and a self-starter mentality;
• Advanced English, both speaking and writing.

Nice to have skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field;
• Minimum of three years of experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes, Lens, Rancher, and CLI commands like Kubectl.
