• Software Testing (manual testing, testing automation, performance testing, outsourcing, training and certification, etc.)

• DevOps/DevSecOps
• Implementation and Customization of Atlassian & OpenText products (MicroFocus) and other niche products/solutions
• AI based Decision Intelligence solutions.

Requirements

· A good understanding of DevOps practices
· Excellent technical documentation affinity
· Good knowledge of UNIX based systems and features
· Good knowledge of monitoring, resilience and performance optimization in Oracle/SQL
· Experience with source control (Git), PowerShell and PowerShell DSC for configuring the application servers
· Good knowledge and demonstrated troubleshooting abilities on connectivity issues due to firewall, load balancer, proxy and others.
· Experience with automation/configuration management systems (such as Azure DevOps, Puppet, YAML, etc)
· Good knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana, Zabbix, Kibana or Prometheus
· Experience with CI-CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Backlog)
· Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels
· Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools
· Polite persistence is a must and it pays off
Technology & ideal candidate:
· Experience in a technical environment using RHEL, Jboss, Apache Web Server, Oracle SQL, bash, python
· Minimum 3 years of experience on a similar job
Soft skills and other relevant information:
· Very strong communication skills – ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders
· Ability to switch context quickly
· Ability to encourage teamwork and to take responsibility.
Nice to have
•Knowledge of ITIL and Agile concepts
•Knowledge of technologies dealing with containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift

Responsibilities

Your Day to Day
· Work closely with application development teams and vendors to tune and troubleshoot applications
· Actively participating in transforming the design, architecture and deployment mechanism for the existing applications in order to have them thrive in a private cloud environment
· Monitor the Business suite, document and analyse problems
· Maintain system documentation
· Configure environments for the application suite
· Deploy application functionality in Test, Acceptance and Production
· OS patching
· Participate in DR/BCP plans
· Escalation of incidents / problems to the next (3rd) line of support, if needed (developers, Infrastructure, Network, Center of expertise – Oracle DB Admins).
· Collaborate with Network, OS and other DevOps teams to ensure proper integration of the environment(s)
· Lead and participate in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring
· Investigate, analyse, document and solve production incidents
· Test application functionality in production after patches or releases
· Reviews and addresses assigned technical support tickets and calls, enters all updates related to such calls into ServiceNow ticketing system, and keeps the team aware of any sensitive or escalating issues
· Develop and maintain the reporting and dashboard infrastructure for the organization
· Enable best practices
· Maintain SLA, System Availability, Capacity management and Performance KPIs
· Offer help and support to newer colleagues

1. Squad
•
Keep squad members up to date regarding the situation on production: document problems & highlight the impact on clients.

Problem & bug investigation (with dev colleagues if needed)

Create / maintain dashboards for different purposes (monitoring, error alerting, statistics)

Have recurrent syncs with developers in order to find out the DevOps needs of the squad
•
Create/maintain pipelines specific for squad needs

Project: DevOps engineer for Business Banking – Business DevOps chapter
Project Description: Business, It Is a client facing application used for the companies flows.
Methodology: We work only Agile, according to a model adapted from Spotify (our Agile implementation is unique in the market).
Area &Application type: Our area is in charge with building new features and maintaining the existing services, used for the Business application.
Team & Way of working: In Digital Platform tribe is organized in 3 squads, in each squad we have BE developer, DevOps, QA, BA, UX designer and Product Owner.
