Your Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain medias configurators based on SAP KMAT knowledge bases in close coordination with KMAT VC modelers and the medias teamCreate and refine user stories, epics, and functional requirements in JIRA based on sales requirements and business needsSupport the update of existing configurators according to new UX/UI standards and contribute to the development of new configurators together with SAP KMAT and medias expertsActively identify and propose improvements to the customer journey for medias and related configurator solutions, ensuring an attractive and seamless B2B e-commerce experience for customersCapture, analyze, and translate stakeholder and customer requirements into technical and functional specificationsPrepare functional specifications, mask layouts, and task variants, and support the implementation of operational requirements in cooperation with the involved systems and teamsCoordinate development-relevant databases with the responsible product specialists and support the alignment of information across connected systemsExecute and organize functional tests to evaluate system reliability, stability, usability, and practical suitability, and incorporate findings into further optimization stepsSupport error analysis, troubleshooting, and the implementation of release changes and customer-specific enhancementsMaintain and adapt user and organizational documentation to reflect changes in processes and systemsTake responsibility for project work packages and, where required, support the technical coordination of project activities and small teamsExchange knowledge independently with internal departments and external consultants to support solution development and continuous improvementYour QualificationsUniversity degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical education with relevant professional experienceSeveral years of experience in product configuration, project management, or system-related development work, ideally in an industrial or digital environmentStrong knowledge of configurable products, product data structures, and related business processesExperience with SAP KMAT, medias, or comparable configurator tools is highly desirableGood understanding of software systems, interfaces, and database structures; programming knowledge is an advantageExperience in writing user stories, epics, and requirements in JIRA or comparable tools; knowledge of Confluence is an advantageFamiliarity with agile methods such as SCRUM or KANBANStrong project management skills with a clear focus on time, cost, quality, and stakeholder alignmentGood command of English, both written and spokenConfident use of MS Office tools, espically PowerPoint and ExcelStructured, independent, and reliable working styleStrong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and willingness to collaborate across functionsAs a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
